Historic Site sights in Brisbane

  1. A

    Newstead

On a breezy hill overlooking the river, Brisbane's best-known heritage site dates from 1846 and is beautifully fitted out with Victorian furnishings, antiques, clothing and period displays. It's surrounded by manicured gardens and has superb water vistas. It's located north of the centre, in Newstead Park. On Sunday, Devonshire tea is served on the verandah.
