No chance of a boring selection like the big pizza chains here: Vespa’s wood-fired varieties are certainly unique. Big sellers include the streaky bacon and red currant with camembert, and the cinnamon roast butternut pumpkin with dried chilli and feta.

    Driving hungers at Vespa Pizza

    If you can't find Vespa Pizza simply drive to New Farm and wait for one of the fleet of Vespa delivery scooters to zoom past and direct you in to the relaxed pizzeria. A favourite for locals and not-so-locals alike, the relatively pricey pizzas are made on the spot and fire to perfection by a friendly staff and cool surrounds. As one might expect, the coffee is good but the pizza is great, though you might factor in a little extra time to come to terms with the colourful and adventurous toppings on offer.
