Lonely Planet review for Watt

At the southeastern end of New Farm, this friendly eatery and bar is part of the Brisbane Powerhouse theatre and arts centre, and serves up good, modern Australian cuisine. If the weather permits, try to get a table on the terrace and enjoy the riverside surrounds; otherwise the chic, subdued interior makes for a pleasant dining experience.

A hotspot with a view at Watt

    mrettybear recommends this,

Watt really is modern dining. It has some wonderful specials and my chicken was cooked to perfection-it practically melted in my mouth. The menu is nice and suitable for most palates - not children though. The meals were a good size and the view of the river was lovely. It was nice and breezy for a summer eve and I strongly suggest booking a table near one of the doors. It has a modern funky feel and though on the expensive side, it's perfect for a special night out. Conclude the perfect evening with a stroll along the river to walk off your delectable dessert. Highly recommend.

    River dining

    jennawren recommends this,

Watt is a nice place to dine if you're seeing a show at the Powerhouse or want to impress out of town guests. While the river view is lovely, the food is overpriced and has gone downhill in the past few years.
