Lonely Planet review for Fatboy’s Café
The $4 breakfast at Fatboy’s is legendary: eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato and toast served any time (add just $1 after 5pm). It’s easily the best value hangover cure in town and it’s located smack bang in the action in the Brunswick St Mall.

Forget breakfast – FB’s is the ultimate late night meal
littlebeattle recommends this,
I have often raved about the Fat Boy’s $4 breakfast, but don’t think this is the only thing it has going for it…twice in the last week I’ve had a ‘mid night out food break’ at Fat Boys, and it has been seriously surprising.
The pasta - particularly the creamy, fully flavoured mushroom and feta pasta - is oh so good, as are the gourmet pizzas. Food arrives quickly, is nice and cheap and the atmosphere is as you would want it – a casual, drinking crowd enjoying a night out and sharing a few laughs.
It’s not a place for a romantic dinner, but if you’re out drinking and need a feed, Fat Boy’s is the answer.

Cheapest Big Breakfast in Brisbane!
trippykyz recommends this,
After a big night out, or to start off a big day, head to Fatboy's for a $4 Big Breakfast, now when I say Big I mean BIG!
You do not get a choice on the way your eggs are cooked for the Big Breakfast, they come fried, but you get a generous serving of bacon, eggs, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and toast.
The service can sometimes be a little snooty but the food definatley makes it worthwhile!Good for: atmosphere, food, Budget Travellers, Solo Travellers

Ideal home-base for a night out.
codie_c recommends this,
This small but cultured little cafe in the middle of Brisbane's entertainment hub, Fortitude Valley, is the ideal starting point for a night on the town. Serving quality food and coffee at fair prices, Fatboy's close proximity to local live music venues, clubs, boutiques and public transport makes it a great meeting place.
If you're after a breather before dancing the night away, or are keen for the famous $4 all-day breakfast the morning after, be sure to check it out.

Fatboys

With breakfast starting any time you please on friday or saturday what is not to love.
$4 breakfast that is fit for a king and friendly service.
Come here after a big night or start the day off fresh watching the nightclub revelers making there way home. Saturday is a good time to come as the markets are on so there are lots of interesting people swanning about.
Fatboy's is great for budget travellers, solo travellers and families are welcome as well.
I have gone here with my mother and sister several times.
Probably not the best place for Fathers Day breakfast or a family reunion but a nice pitspot through the valley.Good for: atmosphere, food, Budget Travellers, Solo Travellers, service, Families

best cheap breakfast around!
miranda_jane recommends this,
Fatboys is the best place in Brisbane for a cheap and filling breakfast! For $4 you get bacon, eggs, toast and sausages. Cheaper, better and much more filling than MacDonalds any day.
