Tibetan Kitchen

Walking in to the tibetan kitchen the smell from the candles and the weird little statues just keeps adding to my obsession every time i go. I ordered the sherpa chicken and a momo and was delighted by the friendly customer service and inviting smells wafting from the kitchen. I wasn't waiting very long for my meal and every mouthful was like heaven on earth. Will certainly be reccomending this restaurant. 

The Tibetan Kitchen has a regular haunt for me over the years.  It's been around for ages, and it's easy to see why - it offers great food in an atmospheric setting, and is perfect for couples or large groups.  Friday and Saturday night are always booked out, so book well in advance and be warned there may be a long wait for your food, but it's worth it for the tasty Nepalese and Tibetan dishes on offer.  From samosas to Sherpa Chicken, you won't be disappointed.

The brightly coloured decor may seem a little rough around the edges, but adds to the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service of a family run restaurant. The menu is a playground for those wishing to explore the recipes handed down from Nepal to this colourful corner of Brisbane, and prices are cheap enough to explain the equally colourful and relaxed patrons. Particularly popular with the locals and groups, the conversation and cheer is aided by a BYO license and delicious food on offer. Not a restaurant for those in a rush.

The Tibetan Kitchen is so different to anywhere else I've been.  The food was great and the atmosphere awesome.  Service was good if a bit slow, but the meal we had made up for that - simply amazing...
