Leave Mitchell St behind and head for a sublime sunset at this laid-back waterski club on Vestey’s Beach. The view through the palm trees from the beer garden is sublime and there are often live bands.

    Its the atmosphere that keeps us all coming back

    The locals choice for a chilled out sunset. Great atmosphere, very relaxed, everyone welcome.
    A highlight is Sunday afternoons with the live band. A great place to get a feel for the Darwin lifestyle that stops so many from leaving!

    Its all about the view, company and music

    nthorpe only missed out one important part, his band playing on the stage that overlooks the arafura sea. The old Bali Bar has now been removed, but is being replaced with a new version in keeping with the style of this venue, as it will consist of a bar, roof, and bar stools. ( who said the bar staff shouldnt have a view too). Old Darwin lives on in this venue

    If you only had one place you could go in Darwin and you wanted to get a feel for the place. come here just before sunset, and watch the sun go down while you drink icy cold beer and eat fresh seafood. I think I have to get on a plane and go there right now.
