Alice’s locals duck down this laneway for huge and wholesome home-style breakfasts (eggs any style, pancakes), pita pizzas, burgers, pies and salads. It’s also a favoured meeting place for well-made coffee or fresh-pressed juice, either in the shade of the covered arcade or inside with local-events flyers wallpapering the walls.

    Best coffee in Alice (always worth the wait!). Nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff, the locals flock here. Foods pretty wholesome and decent for the price (most expensive meal is $17) The free WiFi is great, good for packpackers! I always love going to Bar Doppio's after a big night for recovery. My only complaint is they get very busy and its hard to get a seat sometimes.

    not really the place it use to be..maybe time for another visit,lonely planet?! food nice enough but very expensive with long waiting times..and take a tip from a semi-local,if you order coffee,insist on one of the female staff members making it! Overall,maybe just trying a little too hard to be cool instead of focusing on the service?
