Lonely Planet review
This hotel has a relaxed island vibe with its shady palms, cascading bougainvillea and Indonesian-style villas. The rooms – which have cathedral ceilings, kitchenette, tiny bathroom, TV and private balcony are rather dated, though the island swimming pool is a big hit with kids.
Our independent authors have visited Desert Palms Resort and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Alice Springs.
