Behind the swinging saloon doors is a 'Wild West meets Aussie Outback' theme complete with cowhide seats, stockman regalia and a live 3m-long carpet python behind the bar. Bo's is beloved of backpacker groups and station ringers and is jumping most nights of the week.

Juicy Rump
Not as bad as the name suggests, this is the late-night favourite if you want to have a dance to cheesy R'n'B or watch a big sporting event on the town's largest plasma screen. Also has a deck with a view to the ranges, lovely for sunset drinks.

Annie's Place
Easily the most atmospheric watering hole in town. Decent music (sometimes live), leafy beer garden, cheap jugs and pool-side drinking.
