Itinerary

Day 1: Sydney – Australian Reptile Park – Hunter Valley (L)
After being picked up from your Sydney hotel, you’ll be taken to meet Australian wildlife at the Australian Reptile Park. See kangaroos, wallabies, and spectacular bird life, then enjoy morning tea at the wildlife park. Your tour then takes you via the freeway to the Hunter Valley, which is nestled in the lee of the Great Dividing Range. In the Hunter Valley, visit selected cellar doors for tastings of boutique wines, enjoy a cheese and olive oil tasting at a local cheese shop, and relax over a gourmet lunch at a regional winery. Lunch is included at a well renowned winery/resort and includes a selection of platters accompanied with tastings of two red and two white wines, selected to complement the dishes served. You will also have the opportunity to try some beer tastings and wines from at least ten Hunter Valley boutique wineries. After lunch, you’ll be dropped at your accommodation in the Hunter Valley wine town of Pokolbin, and have the remainder of the afternoon and evening to enjoy at your leisure. Accommodation: 4-star Hunter Resort in Pokolbin
Day 2: Hunter Valley – Port Stephens -- Sydney (B, L)
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be collected by a luxury vehicle and driven to Port Stephens for an exciting ride across the Stockton Sand Dunes on board a 4WD. Then take a scenic cruise around Port Stephens' harbor to spot bottlenose dolphins swimming in the bay’s calm, enclosed waterway. Relax over a buffet lunch served aboard the Moonshadow boat before returning to the dry land at around 12pm. You’ll be then driven back to the Hunter Valley, a scenic drive of around 1.5 hours, to rejoin your connecting return transfer back to Sydney, where you’ll be dropped at your hotel at around 6pm. A note about Eco-tours: This tour is operated with a low impact to the environment and local inhabitants, promotes cultural values and traditions, and provides opportunities to learn about the flora and fauna and the geological significance of the region.
