    ANZ Stadium

    Formerly known as Telstra Stadium (and before that Stadium Australia), the ANZ Stadium was custom built for the 2000 Olympics at a cost of $690 million. With room for over 83,000 fans, it’s a real doozey! Aside from rugby league games, it also hosts rugby union, AFL football and international soccer matches.

    Sydney Cricket Ground

    The stately old SCG is the venue for sparsely attended Sheffield Shield and one-day interstate matches (featuring the NSW Blues), and sell-out five-day international test, one-day and 20/20 limited-over matches. The cricket season runs from October to March. Daily admission for a test match costs upwards of $50; book through Ticketek.
