Lonely Planet review for Blue Water Pizza
Bright and brassy, this lively waterfront eatery is the place to come for wood-fired pizza, particularly on a Monday when all pies are a bargain $14.

Gourmet Pizza on the water
durk94 recommends this,
BWP specializes in wood fired gourmet style pizzas. The location is a winner (there is another one in Warner's Bay as well), with great views over the Newcastle Harbour.
If you are in the mood for a decent pizza this is a good choice. Of course you get what you pay for, and so it is not the cheapest, but is certainly a step up from any franchise place.

Not your usual pizza...
siouxsiesioux recommends this,
Set on the picturesque Queens Wharf, Blue Water Pizza is great for those who are tired of the 'traditional' pizza and the same kinds of toppings. Their array of pizzas and other such fare will have you stumped for awhile with the tempting selection! The restaurant is family-friendly and one can choose an indoor table where you can breathe in the fresh sea air. After dining, it's recommended you walk along the foreshore as the views are quite stunning.

A Newcastle classic

A view of the harbour to admire and a gourmet pizza to devour, BWP certainly got the combination right. This restaurant offers a unique novocastrian charm about it, particularly with its friendly service and beautiful location. Great for budget travellers, and the like, prepare for a great night
