I am from South Korea but working in Bali in Indonesia.
Myself and my friend from California are going to travel in Australia on May by a campervan.
We drive in our countries but I do not have an international driving license and she has to pick a driving license in Sydney so we do need a person who can drive.
We are planning to drive from Melbourne along Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns and Darwin.
This is our plan so far.
If you are interested in traveling with us or have some questions…
Hello! We are a family of 4 (kids will be 7 & 9). We are flying in and out of Sydney (can't be changed) mid-October until mid-March (thinking 3 months in Australia and 2 months in New Zealand). We are home-schooling our children during this time, so don't want too aggressive an itinerary. We won't be able to get to the West coast unfortunately, and are debating an Uluru loop. We are keen on scenery, water, wildlife, hiking, camping. Cities are okay, but not our focus. We hope to be with friends…
Hi guys, I'm Photographer and living in Melbourne. I'm planning to hit the road from Melbourne to Uluru (Ayers Rock) in May, and I've been seeking someone to join the trip, it would be saver and nicer if anyone interested.

I am supposed to be leaving on May 23 for Australia for a 6 month au pair gig. I applied for my W&HV 462 on March 1. I sent them the info on March 16 and now I'm just waiting.
I have checked the website and it says 90% are completed in 29 days. I figured it would take longer because of my record, but I am getting very nervous that I won't be able to start my job at the end of May like I am supposed to. The online Immi application asked what my departure date was and I put down May 23, so…
I will be in Australia for 2 months (end of October to beginning of January) and afterwards will head over
to New Zealand. I am currently planning a route (particularly because I need to figure out where my journey
ends so I can book my flight to New Zealand ahead of time) and I am wondering whether it seems doable.
My trip starts in Perth, since I have friends there, and from there it's Darwin (and Kakadu National Park) - Cairns (and Great Barrier Reef)- Townsville - Sunshine…
I'm going Australia in October, flying into Melbourne and staying in Sydney for the NYE. After that I would like to travel up the coast.. Sydney - cairns would anyone recommend the greyhound pass from Sydney to cairn? Or find different methods of transport?
Thank you !
Also when I arrive to Sydney, is it worth the walk from domestic airport to mascot station to save $15 or so on the train fare and pay just $5ish to my accommodation?
I have a 7.25 am flight leaving Sydney for cairns on a Monday. When should I leave my hostel? I'm staying in the Wooloomooloo area.
I have been planning my WHV trip to Aus for a few months now and I am all booked to leave London on November 1st!! I also applied for my visa this morning and have already been accepted! It's beginning to feel super real now and i'm pretty excited, although I think I am beginning to overthink/worry about a few things.
Is there anything you would suggest I plan before I arrive in Aus? Like my greyhound bus pass?
I have also booked my first nights stay in a private room of a hostel so…
My family and I (2 Adult, two young children) planning a 2-3 months roadtrip in Australia between Dec 17 and Feb 18. We just started our investigation and realized that renting a decent camper via a Swiss travel agent becomes an expensive excercise. Was therefore wondering if anybody can help with a German/Austrian based agend or international Specialist and wheter there are any experience you can share.
