The Carrington, Katoomba’s social and architectural high-water mark, has been accommodating travellers since 1880. Though much of the building has been refurbished, its historical character remains intact. Amenities include a library, a billiards room and stately gardens.

Rooms at The Carrington hotel have classic ambience and décor. They all include cable TV, tea and coffe- making facilities. Some rooms offer city views or open out onto a balcony; others are equipped with a spa bath.

Old City Bank Bar & Brasserie offers informal dining with wood-fire pizza and gourmet burgers. Champagne Charlie’s serves cocktails and other drinks. The grand dining room is open for high tea on Sundays and dinner at weekends.
