Getting there & away
Rex (13 17 13; www.rex.com.au) flies between Griffith and Sydney.
All buses, except CountryLink (which stops at the train station), stop at the Griffith Travel & Transit Centre (6962 7199; 121 Banna Ave) in the Shell petrol station opposite the plane memorial. All services run daily to Adelaide ($108, 14 hours), Melbourne ($98, nine hours), Sydney ($98, 10 hours) and Mildura ($80, six hours).
There’s a taxi service (6964 1444) and an airport express bus service (0418 696 280).
