Lonely Planet review for Balcony

The eponymous architectural feature here wraps around the building and gives you tremendous views of the passing Byron parade and the always-clogged traffic circle. The food is Mediterranean fusion, with global influences. The drink list is long.

    Very comfortable, especially the landing, for lunch

    We found the service first class. The landing was great to eat, good for watching the shoppers, tourists etc below. The menu range is excellent. Went back in the evening for a more intimate dinner at a table inside. Very comfortable and well appointed. The food ordered was ok. But could have been better presented for the price paid as this is not a cheap restaurant. This is a busy restaurant would pay to book. Enjoyed lunch.

    Great place - often very busy - make a reservation

    Great place to sit and drink a mojito and munch on some excellent tapas, only place in Byron to merit two visits on our latest trip.

    Very busy on Friday night but we were able to get a table by turning up early and finishing before the reservation time of the next customers.

    Good for: atmosphere, food, service
