The Wegner chairs and raw décor are fabulous, but like its Sydney sibling, the off-hand service, big-night-outers and woo-woo ear candy can make a chore out of getting your fill of the best Thai food in town. It’s best at lunch, when you can book a table or bolt a few trout-topped betal leaves and gin slings at the bar.

    Longing for Longrain

    Enter the restaurant and you enter into the spirit of Longrain - talking to your new dining neighbours about what's they've ordered, enjoying chatting with the staff and considering their great recommendations, ignoring the quite high cost of the G&T and concentrating on the delicious flavours and aromoas of the food. Considering you can't book a table and you are likely to be seated with others, it's not cheap, but it all becomes part of the fun as foodies unite to savour the yummy morsels of Asian cuisine and enjoy a little gastronomic adventure.
