Elbow your dinner partner out of the way to get the soft-leather banquette seat. The polished concrete floors, copper trimmings and aged posters give the impression you're in for some French dining. Perhaps, but don't rule out other Euro dishes, prepared with organic produce whenever possible.

    Best for dinner. Best in winter.

    On a chilly dark night you can't go past the warm atmosphere that Madam Sousou has to offer. Good food, good wine list. Situated in Fitzroy amongst many good options for an after dinner tipple.

    Good for: escaping the cold, gastronomes

    Not good for: kids, your wallet

    Best Breakfast in Brunswick Street!

    This gorgeous little cafe is surely one of the best along Brunswick Street! It's quaint and comfortable and offers friendly service along with great food! Breakfast is particularly good here with something different to offer... My favourite is the corn cakes with smoked salmon, it will melt in your mouth. And if you appreciate good coffee, you're in the right place!

    With low lighting, lovely framed prints adorning the wall and gorgeous floral arrangements on the tables, Madame SouSou is perfect for an intimate dinner. Perch at the bar for a drink, or sink into the banquette and enjoy well prepared dishes from the predominatently bistro fare menu.
    Staff are attentive, and the interior is warm and evokes Parisian chic. Take someone special and share dessert.
