Guest rooms at the Sofitel start on the 36th floor, so you are guaranteed breathtaking views that will make you giddy. The rooms are high international style, opulent rather than minimal, and though the hotel entrance, with its superb IM Pei–designed ceiling, is relentlessly workaday, you'll soon be a world (or at least 36 floors) away. No35 is an excellent restaurant on level (you guessed it) 35.
