This long-standing, award-winning Turkish restaurant has been feeding its fans authentic delights for over 20 years. The brief but tasty menu includes vegetarian options, plates to share and stand-alone mains such as the excellent hünkar beğendi (diced lamb on a bed of eggplant).

    Traditional Turkish with flair

    The Alayna, hidden within the twists and turns of Manuka, is truly a rare treasure. While not as flamboyant as other Canberra Turkish restaurants, it makes up for this with quality of food and service. The banquet is available for as little as three people and gives the best representation of Turkish cuisine. Consisting of a selection of hot and cold entrees such as dips, light and fluffy zucchini balls and delicate fetta sticks to the traditional main meals of kofta, rice and salads and other mains.
    It is always a delight to visit the Alayna.
