  1. Shifen

    In little Shifen (十分 | Shífēn), the train passes through the village just metres from the two- and three-storey houses running parallel to the tracks. It's the only place left in Taiwan where this occurs, and when the old steam engines are brought out once a month to ride the Pingxi line, the scene in Shifen will tug at your nostalgic heart no matter where you come from.
