A strikingly modern hotel, the 66-room Golden Palace is a big glass and steel structure on the edge of Haghtanak Park. Rooms have nice touches like terry-cloth robes and the suites are equipped with a Jacuzzi and kitchenette. The presidential suite costs a cool AMD800,000 a night – Jacques Chirac stayed here during his 2006 visit.
