This spectacular extension offers a short visit to the world's most spectacular waterfalls where we view the cataracts from the Argentinean side. The Sheraton International Hotel is the best hotel on the Argentine side of the falls and is the only hotel offering views of the falls. Situated right next to the falls, this hotel provides an ideal base to explore these stunning falls and ensures you get the most out of your visit to this natural wonderland. NB: The cost of this trip varies significantly depending whether you prefer to stay in falls view or garden view rooms or whether you prefer to have private or non exclusive transfers and tours. This extension is completely tailor made and if you prefer we can simply arrange the hotel only and you can do as you please and we can also add additional nights at the Sheraton or more economical hotels nearby.

Itinerary

Day 1 Join Iguazu, half day tour of falls on Argentine side
Upon arrival at Iguazu Falls you will be transferred to the Hotel International (Sheraton) for twinshare accommodation including breakfast. Though not the highest nor largest waterfalls in the world, they are a true spectacle and a must see for anyone visiting South America. Set in a lush rain forest, there are more than twenty-five different cataracts – some small, some absolutely massive. The largest of all is the Boca or Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). This afternoon you will undertake a sightseeing tour of the Argentinian side of the falls. The evening is at leisure to relax.
Day 2 Morning at the Falls, transfer to airport, trip concludes
Today we suggest you get up at the crack of dawn and walk down from the hotel to the falls, as the temperature is always pleasant at this time of day, and there are lots of birds and coati mundis (a cousin of the bear surprisingly - but looks more like a possum!) in the forests near the falls. This afternoon we transfer to the airport where our services conclude.
