One bus daily runs to Neuquén (AR$40, 6½ hours) via Zapala (AR$20, 3½ hours). If you’re headed for Chos Malal, you can shave a couple of hours off your travel time by getting off in Las Lajas (AR$15, 2½ hours) and waiting for a bus there. Check your connection times with the bus company Cono Sur (421800), though – if you’re going to get stranded, Zapala is the place to do it.
