Alta Gracia Hostel
Five short blocks downhill from the Jesuit museum, Alta Gracia’s hostel offers a fair deal. Dorms are roomy enough and the kitchen should meet your needs.
Niyat Urban Hotel
Rooms with chic décor, spa and gym facilities can be enjoyed across from 25 de Mayo Park in Resistencia City. Guests can book a massage and enjoy free Wi-Fi. The Museum of Fine Arts is 2 blocks away...

Roque Sáenz Peña
Right next to the spa complex, this fine modern hotel gives a feeling of space throughout. Rooms are indeed set around a lofty central atrium and are sleek, minimalist and great value for this standard of place...
Simple, clean and central.
Central and decent enough place that caters for traveling salespeople, the odd backpacker and local couples looking for a few hours away from disapproving parents’ eyes. Breakfast, TV and air-con all cost extra.
With an excellent location close to the plaza and restaurants, this upmarket hotel has fine facilities, including a pool, sauna and Jacuzzi, and personable staff...
A few blocks south of the plaza, the old-fashioned Alfil is a reasonable budget choice. The interior rooms are dark but worthwhile if the significant street noise in the exterior rooms (with their strangely inaccessible balconies) will bother you...
Roque Sáenz Peña
With plush red carpet and mirrors everywhere, including on the doors of the rooms, this looks like a cross between a Colombian narco-trafficker’s mansion and a top-of-the-market 1970s brothel...
This simple place has quite reasonable rooms for a low price within easy striking distance of the Plaza 25 de Mayo.
This swish casino-hotel is the city’s smartest choice, with various grades of room and slick service. As well as the slot machines, there’s a sauna, gym and self-contained spa complex.
Hotel San Martín
OK for the price, but otherwise uninteresting, the San Martín is surprisingly quiet for its central location. Some rooms are definitely better than others, so have a look around if you can.
One of two places to stay, this is a great little spot with comfortable rooms (AR$10 extra for air-con) with sizable bathrooms set around a beautiful patio with a well and shaded by mango trees...
Camping Parque 2 De Febrero
This well-staffed campground has good facilities, including shade, but can get crowded and noisy in high season – not least because of the dance clubs across the road. Bus 9 will get you there from the north side of the plaza.
Art deco fans mustn’t miss this 1920s classic, a few steps south of the plaza. It’s an amazingly large and characterful building with some enticingly curious period features. Rooms show their age but the refurbished apartments are very spick and span.
Neat, fairly unadorned but modern rooms with good bathrooms. Nice touches such as some art and plants about the place and helpful service.
Niyat Urban Hotel
Shiny and confident, this plaza-side hotel offers excellent service and plenty of value for its gleaming modern rooms, which boast great bathrooms, comfy beds and big flat-screen TVs. Some look over the square...
