    Vagón Histórico

    In the center of Puerto Deseado, the restored 1898 Vagón Histórico is famous as the car from which rebel leader Facón Grande prepared the ‘Patagonia Rebellion.’ In 1979 the car was almost sold for scrap, but disgruntled townspeople blocked the roads to stop the sale.

    Museo Regional Mario Brozoski

    The Museo Regional Mario Brozoski displays relics of the English corvette Swift, sunk off the coast of Deseado in 1776. Divers continue to recover artifacts from this wreck, located in 1982.
