Lonely Planet review for Casimiro Biguá
With warm copper accents and a hustling staff, this chic eatery and vinoteca (wine bar) offers an impressive list of 180 Argentine wines. The chef creates wonderful homemade pasta, risotto, lamb stew, and grilled trout and steak.

The food was delicious, the waiter - always on time, interior - pleasant

Excelent and well served food in a noisy and too warm place.

We had dinner here, I enjoyed a great rissoto con funggi.
The temperature of the room was very high. An elder person was feeling sick. We managed to "convince" the management to turn on the cooler (too small for such a big room) and the turned it off after a few minutes.
It seems people try to save on air conditioning everywhere else in Calafate! -
No great shakes!

There are three restaurants in El Calafate on Avenue Liberatdor that go by the same name and have the same owner- the main restaurant, a trattoria and a wine bar. Me and my husband went to the trattoria on December 31st and they refused to seat us inspite of the whole place being vacant as we didnt have reservations; the place was quite empty even a couple of hours later as well. Our earlier experience at the main restaurant was not that favourable either. The place iwas very crowded, the service slow and food ordinary. The servers were distracted most of the time, trying to seat some friends of the owner. And beware, there is a huge service charge for the bread and dip!
