Getting there & around
Most travelers make bus, train and plane connections in Viedma. But most northbound buses also stop at Patagones’ bus terminal (462666; cnr Barbieri & Méjico), with plenty of service to Bahía Blanca and Buenos Aires. Tickets for Tren Patagónico (Viedma to Bariloche) can be purchased at the bus terminal.
Two bridges connect Patagones with Viedma. The balsa (ferry) crosses the river to Viedma (AR$1) every few minutes, from 6:30am to 10pm.
