Getting there & away
The bus terminal (cnr Belgrano & Entre Ríos) is three blocks south of the plaza. There are regular buses to Salta (AR$21, 4½ hours) and Jujuy (AR$11, 2¼ hours), and to La Quiaca (AR$12, three hours).
Transportes Mendoza (421442; cnr Belgrano & Salta) offers service to Iruya (AR$11, three hours). It leaves Humahuaca daily at 8:30am and 10:30am, and also 6pm Monday to Friday. Tickets are available from the bus terminal. The service is unreliable, especially in summer if rain has made the road impassable.
