Bar San Carlos
Neighborhood parrillas (steak restaurants) are fast disappearing in Córdoba, but the San Carlos is one of the best, and still hanging in there. Get there reasonably early and beat the old guys out of a table on the small shady plaza.

Of Córdoba's many parrillas , this is probably the most atmospheric: it's dimly lit, and the walls are stacked with Argentine wines.
