Sights in Concordia

  1. Museo Regional de Concordia

The Museo Regional de Concordia is in the Palacio Arruabarrena. The display is mostly about Italian immigration to the region, but there’s also some fine furniture, including a mirror that belonged to Urquiza. The interior is badly in need of restoration, but Concordia – hit hard by the economic crisis – has nowt in the bank.

  2. Castillo San Carlos

At the northeastern edge of town are the ruins of Castillo San Carlos, built by a French industrialist who mysteriously abandoned the property years later. French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry briefly lived in the building; there's a monument to The Little Prince nearby. There's no charge for wandering around the ruins.
