Getting around

Local buses leave from the old bus terminal (492858; cnr Pringles & Los Almendres) in the center of town. There are departures for the Mirador del Sol (AR$4, 40 minutes), Piedra Blanca (AR$1.50, 20 minutes), Bajo de Veliz (AR$6, one hour), Papagayos (AR$3, one hour) and the nearby artisan village of Cerro de Oro (AR$1.50, 30 minutes).

Merlo Rent a Car (473949; www.merlorentacar.com.ar; cnr Av del Sol & Pelligrini) is the local car-rental operator.

Center Bikes (02656-15-641805; Pringles 586) rents bikes for AR$15 per day. Call to arrange drop off and pick up at your hotel.
