Galerías Pacífico
Built in 1889 by Paris department store Bon Marché, this exquisite shopping center sat empty for years before being restored in 1992 to its present state. More impressive than the top-name stores inside are the vaulted ceilings, painted by five renowned Argentine artists, including Antonio Berni.

One of BA's most upmarket shopping malls, Paseo Alcorta isn't as chaotic or as big as Abasto, but includes many of the same stylish Argentine brands, along with exclusive European designers, leather goods and shoes, kid's shops, a couple of good cafes, a cinema complex, and children's play area.
