Even if you don't need a book, pop into Ateneo's flagship bookstore, the biggest bookshop in South America and a treat for the eyes. It occupies the restored Grand Splendid theater, built in 1919 and now complete with bookshelves in the balconies, reading nooks in the boxes and a cafe on stage. Some English books available.
