Lonely Planet review for Cumaná
This bright, upbeat eatery is one of the only places in town serving traditional dishes from far-flung provinces of Argentina. The hearty criollo (Spanish/Indian) cuisine baking in the adobe oven includes locro, a thick corn-based stew made with meat and vegetables. Don’t miss the humita, a creamy cheese and corn mixture wrapped up in corncob leaves.

You shouldn´t miss it.
marianalorefice recommends this,
If you come to Argentina with the idea of knowing the people, their customs, live the experience of a fútbol match, or learn some tango, you definitely shouldn´t miss the delicious food of Cumaná.
Located in the middle of the neighbourhood of Recoleta, Cumaná is one of the most emblematic places in Buenos Aires regarding traditional Argentinian food.
Not only you will enjoy a friendly and relaxed environment, where you can spend a nice time in good company, but you will also be able to taste the most delicious typical food, such as cazuelas, empanadas, tamales, among others.
After your dinner, you will also be gratefully surprised by the good prices, but if I were you, I would be there before 9 pm since it´s not always easy to find an empty table.
Enjoy Cumaná, and afterwards you can say you know Argentina.Good for: atmosphere, food, Budget Travellers, Groups, Solo Travellers, service
