Lonely Planet review for Pizzería Güerrín
Just point at a prebaked slice behind the glass counter and eat standing up with the rest of the guys. To be more civilized, sit down and order your pizza freshly baked – this way you’ll also get to choose from a greater variety of toppings. Empanadas and plenty of desserts are also available.

One of the best pizzas in town. Down to earth setting.
molesey recommends this,
This is a pizza joint, not a fancy, trendy restaurant. Vinyl floors, fluorescent lights, with a large seating area, and even an area where you can eat your slice standing up before you dash off to your next appointment. It's hard to find bad pizza in Buenos Aires because the cheese, ham, dough, olives are just so full of flavour. And Guerrin has been around for decades and for a reason...it's amazing. Its not a thin or thick pizza, but a regular medium with very generous toppings. A large pizza (about $10!) is good for 3 or 4 people, and they serve it piping hot. Want to try something different on the side? Order Faina, a flatbread made with chickpea flour, and good for soaking up some of the wonderful pizza sauce. Guerrin is also really cheap so do make a point to stop by even if its just for one slice standing up. Guerrin is located on Corrientes Avenue, in the middle of all the theatres and bright lights, close to El Colon. I wish I had a slice in my hand right now.
Across the street is another pizza place "Los Immortales" (The Immortals) which is the other best pizza place in town, but that is more a sit-down restaurant. Fantastic pizza. And one block down is this little historic restaurant/cafe called La Giralda which has the best hot chocolate and churros.
