  1. Viejo Lobo

    With a beachside view, extensive wine list and menu complete with dishes including lightly crumbed calamari, an excellent selection of fish and delicacies like Spanish-style octopus, this is a great place for seafood. It's on the beach at the end of Av Bunge.

    This classy restaurant, bar and tea room was the home of a well-known soprano who wowed the crowds at Teatro Colón in the ’50s. Now specializes in gourmet meat dishes and European specialties like fondue.

    A good place for reasonably priced, quality seafood. Fish is prepared in at least nine different sauces, or go for the shrimp soup and octopus salad. Homemade pastas also available.

    The tourist office provides a list of folks who rent horses for riding in the summer. Ismael is the only one open year-round, but call ahead if it's a winter weekday.
