Getting there & away

The bus terminal (422470; Av 58, btwn Calle 47 & Av 45) is near the river. Several companies run daily buses to Buenos Aires (AR$76, seven hours). Empresa Córdoba Mar del Plata serves the interior, and there are often special services by other carriers in summer. El Rápido connects Necochea with Mar del Plata (AR$18, two hours), Bariloche (AR$180, 18 hours) and Tandil (AR$20, 2¾ hours). Rapido del Sud connects Necochea with other coastal destinations.
