Bus

Bahía Blanca’s bus terminal (481-9615; Brown 1700) is about 2km southeast of Plaza Rivadavia. All of the bus companies are represented and there’s a decent snack bar. La Estrella and Expreso Cabildo each offer two or three daily services to Sierra de la Ventana.

Car

If you’re using Bahia Blanca as a base to explore the nearby sierras and the coast, hiring a car could be the best way. Try Localiza (456-2526; Av Colón 194).

Train

Trains leave from the Estación Ferrocarril Roca (452-9196; Av Cerri 750) for Buenos Aires daily at around 7pm (12 hours). Fares range from AR$23 turista (2nd class) to AR$40 for a Pullman (recliner) seat.
