Anguilla Hotels, Hostels & Accommodation

Anguilla has a reputation as an expensive destination because…well, it is. You’ll be hard-pressed to find any semblance of a luxury vacation for under US$300 a night. Most hotel rooms and villas around the island have kitchens or kitchenettes. Consider picking up some groceries in the Valley to reduce the costs of your vacation.

High-season rates usually run December 15 to April 15, but it’s around Christmas and New Year’s when prices rise astronomically. Most hotels charge significantly less in the low season.

Hotels charge a 10% government tax and 10% service charge. This is not included in any of the published rates here unless otherwise noted.

$ budget under US$200
$$ midrange US$200 to US$400
$$$ top end more than US$400

One of Anguilla’s many charms is its plethora of villas. Prices range from around US$1000 per week for a studio during summer to US$75,000 per night for a seven-bedroom mansion at Christmas.

The better rental agencies can hook you up with a variety of properties fitting all different price ranges, or check out the agencies listed at http://villas.ai. Note: roosters don’t pay heed to quiet-hour signs posted at hotels or villas, no matter the level of luxury – bring earplugs.

Anguilla Great House

Although the name is a bit of a misnomer (it’s more like the Anguilla Not-So-Great House), the rows of dated West Indian cottages offer ocean views at a smaller price tag than most of the other resorts on the island.
