The Musée du l’OPNA provides interesting information on the history, geography and environment of the Hoggar region. The irregularly opening Musée du Hoggar has displays of Tuareg clothing, swords and daggers. You could also check out the Maison de la Culture on place du 1er Novembre, which has regular exhibitions about the landscape and animal life of the region as well as good second-hand-book sales.
