Itinerary
Day 1 Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is a town on the Zimbabwean side of the falls, with spectacular views and a reputation as the adventure capital of Zimbabwe.
Days 2-3 Bulawayo
Also known as the 'City of Kings', Bulawayo is Zimbabwe's second-largest city and still retains the parks, tree-lined streets and buildings of its colonial past.
Day 4 Masvingo
The oldest colonial settlement in Zimbabwe, Masvingo is the perfect base to explore the Great Zimbabwe Ruins - the national monument the country is named after.
Day 5 Lake Chicamba
Not far from the Zimbabwe-Mozambique border, Lake Chicamba is a popular fishing destination for locals and travellers alike.
Days 6-8 Vilankulo
The lively coastal town of Vilankulo is our gateway to explore the clear waters and spectacular coral reefs of the Bazaruto Archipelago - home to some of the world's best diving sites.
Day 9 Morrungulo
Set on an idyllic coastline of palm-fringed beaches and laidback locals, Morrungulo is a great spot to relax on the beach, snorkel or take a sailing trip.
Day 10 Praia de Tofo
One of Mozambique's most glorious beaches, Praia de Tofo is close to the historic town of Inhambane - an important port for Portuguese and Arab traders in the 11th century.
Day 11 Maputo
With its attractive tree-lined avenues, Mozambique's thriving capital city of Maputo has a unique European feel and some great local restaurants.
Days 12-13 Kruger National Park
Created to control diminishing animal numbers due to hunting, Kruger National Park became official in 1926 and is now deservedly one of Africa's premier safari parks.
Day 14 Johannesburg
It doesn't always have the best reputation, but Johannesburg has fascinating, vibrant places to explore like Soweto, Alexandra, Rosebank Flea Market and its wonderful museums.
