All Terrain Adventures
Quad biking along the beautiful banks of the Victoria Nile is a real blast thanks to All Terrain Adventures. It now has more than a dozen quads and after a little spin on the practice circuit, it is time to explore the paths and trails that criss-cross the nearby countryside. This is huge fun if you've never tried this sort of thing before, and those with experience will love some of the longer trips.
There are several spins available, starting with a one-hour short-haul safari at, right up to a trailblazer that takes half a day. Another popular option includes the twilight cruiser with a meal in a local home, and plans are afoot to develop quad-biking safaris through…

Wet 'n' Wild
As Lemesos' reputation as a 'good time gal' has to be maintained to compete with that of its younger sister, Agia Napa, so too Lemesos has to have a crazy water theme park. It actually has three, but Wet 'n' Wild is particularly special. It's in the middle of the tourist centre, and is set back a few hundred metres from the beachfront.
There are raft rides, inner-tube rides, body flumes, speed slides, a 'lazy river', wave pool, activity pool, kiddies' pool and 'wet bubble'. And if that doesn't get your kids to sleep like logs at night, we don't know what will.
If you are coming to Lemesos by car, exit at the Mouttagiaka exit (junction 23) on the A1 motorway. There's no…

Río Chiriquí
Those who seek a bit of adventure shouldn't miss the excellent white-water rafting within a two-hour drive of Boquete. The Río Chiriquí flows from the fertile hills of Volcán Barú, and is flanked by forest for much of its lengths. At some places, waterfalls can be seen at the edges of the river, and the river passes through narrow canyons with awesome, sheer rock walls.
The Río Chiriquí Viejo is most often run from May to December, the Río Chiriquí the rest of the year; the rides tend to last four and five hours, respectively. Depending on the skill level of your party, you can tackle thrilling class 3 and class 4 rapids or some seriously scary class 5 rapids.

For an extra US$15 per person, you’ll get lunch, a plantation tour and a fresh piña colada at the end of the excursion. If you show up under your own steam, you’ll pay US$40 for the raft trip alone.
